Controversial Marathi Film ‘Nude: Chitraa’ Faces Plagiarism Charges, Court Stays Release
Though the movie ‘Nude’ (Chitraa) is a year old, it grabbed our attention a few days back due to the IFFI controversy. Made under the banner of Zee Studios, the Marathi film is directed by Ravi Jadhav and is dedicated to all the nude models across the world, who dared to bare their body and soul to educate an artist. Yesterday, the MD & CEO of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, Mr. Punit Goenka shared the beautiful teaser of the film on Twitter and his tweet read, “#ZEE has always stood for women empowerment & has applauded their priceless contribution. @ZEEStudios_’ film ‘Nude’ is our latest effort in this direction. Last year November 2017 Film “Nude”(Chitraa) And “S-DURGA”also disqualified from GOA FILM FESTIVAL. NUDE(Chitraa) is based on a very Sensitive Film content, said Jadhav.
